What's Early Intervention Services?

Early Intervention Services (EIS) is a program that provides services and supports to children from birth to age three with developmental delays and disabilities -- and their families -- who live in Winnebago County.  The Winnebago County Department of Human Services contracts with EIS, a program of Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin, to:

* evaluate children to identify any disabilities or significant delays that would qualify them and their families for services.

* develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), if eligible.

* provide services based on the IFSP, such as therapies, education and family consultation, that offer the best opportunity for each child to develop to his or her fullest potential.

* support families to aid in their children's development.
